watch out for dj onesix

I set out to do a 90s hip hop mix but I couldn’t help but notice that there are already so many of them out there.  So, I tried to include songs here that weren’t necessarily the artists’ #1 hits…I have Naughty By Nature’s Uptown Anthem instead of O.P.P. or Hip Hop Hooray and I have some other less-remembered tracks like Rampage’s Take it to the Streets.

The first half is east coast “jiggy” stuff and the second half is all west coast…See if you don’t remember these songs from a bunch of our favorite artists.

Just completed the latest in this series of mixes that I do where I focus more on dance/indie/mashup/rock tracks and less on top-40 radio/club hits.  Electric Patrol 3 went way into the house music, so on this one I wanted to switch it up and keep it more rock-focused.
